Where have I been?

Hey everyone…

So let’s address the elephant in the room.  I’ve been missing for years, many years. Why is that?

Well, the long and short of it is i stopped enjoying it. I don’t fully know why, but I know at least a part of it was because I wasn’t earning money off of it. Money has been an issue for me for the last few (*cough* plenty) years, and I was disappointed that I was so dedicated to something that wasn’t helping my quality of life financially.

I never stopped to take into account that it helped me in other ways. It helped me be creative, and have an outlet to help clear my mind, and a voice to give my opinion and insights on things… that kinda stuff is just as important as the money (one could argue those are of greater importance than money).

Not expressing myself through writing or designing left a void in my life that I didn’t even fully realize before.  But now that I’m back at it again, I realize how much I missed it.

Plus when I stopped and thought about it, if I had continued writing… even on and off, since the time I started this blog, I would have been making money from it by now.  So basically what I’m saying is my bad for falling off. I lost the essence of why I started this in the first place, and I’m looking to get back into it now (for the right reasons).

So expect to get the same kinda posts from me (though there may be a little room for some new stuff, you never know), but it’s going to remain the imperfect blog that you’re used to getting from me. It’s good to be back and I’m glad to have you all along for the ride. Buckle up and let’s go!
