Service Review: Weston HCG Center

So last year I decided because of my skin condition called HS (Hidradenitis Supperativa) that I would get laser hair removal, since my HS can get pretty severe, and I was told that that would help to alleviate the chronic symptoms.

I went to Weston HCG Center because I had gotten a good deal on underarm laser hair removal from a Groupon with them, so I decided to get all my hair removal don’t there for me and my sister (they were giving me the Groupon rare for all additional services as well, so I thought…what a steal!)

So in total I paid for me to get a Brazilian, my full face and neck and my underarms, and for my sister to get her full face and underarms done.

Let me get into the good parts before I state the issue i had. Their staff is to notch. All bilingual, didn’t make us feel awkward because we are English speakers and they’re all Spanish. Very respectful, polite, friendly and professional. Facility is clean as well, and you can tell that sanitation is on their list of priorities. So my experiences were pleasant. 

That bring said, I was MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED! I will leave my review of this place below, and that will let you know why.

Review: “The woman who does the laser hair removal is very nice and pleasant and very professional. HOWEVER, I am not a very hairy person by nature, and 4 months after mine and my sisters service, around 70% of the hair is back! And that is after 6 months of treatment. She had explained to me a long time ago that the laser does not remove grey hairs, so I was expecting to have a few stragglers, because I’m 38 and I know I have a few greys here and there. What I did not expect, however, was just to have wasted over a thousand dollars on a service that barely worked. What i did not expect was to be told that i need to pay for another 3-6 months of services. I was also told i took too long to come back (and pay for more services) cuz now I’ve allowed the hair to get strong again! I guess I could even understand it as more reasonable if I were a really hairy person and it wasn’t quite as perfect as I would have liked, and I had to do an occasional touch up, but this is ridiculous. I’m not going to pay them again for services that may not even work. I’m going to check out Milan Laser Hair Removal since they have guarantees that their laser hair removal works or they’ll fix it. Laser is not a temporary service, and if I knew it would be this ineffective, I wouldn’t have wasted my money. I’m sure they’re probably good with the other services they offer, but don’t go to HCG Weston for laser hair removal”.
