Today’s product Review is on the Ciroa Pomegranate and Cherry Butter. Firstly of all, let me just say that this Body Butter smells amazing! It is rich and thick and very moisturizing.
I have tried some body butters that are thick, they go on like paste, but they don’t absorb into the skin. They just sit on top. It’s even worse than not using anything, because now, not only to you have a thick ‘goop’ on your skin, it leaves a layer of film that is difficult to wash off. Yuck!
This butter is nothing like that. It is a joy to use. It is quite fragrant, which is nice. However, the scents does fade after about an hour (so if you wanted to wear perfume, go right ahead…of course depending on the scent. I use a fragrance from Oakcha that imitates the Tom Ford Lost Cherry so the scent matches the butter…there’s no clash and the scent can last a lot longer!)
It absorbs with very little effort and your skin instantly feels moisturized. I have used the Ciroa brand before with other butters and have been just as pleased with the moisture content. Ciroa is an Australian brand and this Body butter is described as ‘an ultra hydrating body butter, elevated with 6% Shea Butter and 4% Glycerin, to nourish and protect the skin barrier.’ Ciroa is dermatologically tested, cruelty free, is produced in recycled packaging, and is vegan friendly.
