The three shades I decided to try out were:
- Here To Stay
- Endless Summer
- Fuchsia Fever
I believe these glosses were somewhere around $ 3.50 each at Walmart. I had never seen this particular product from Rimmel before so I wanted to give them a try. Fuchsia Fever, as the name implies is a bright patent pink gloss. Here To Stay is more of a taupe colored gloss with slight shimmer. Endless Summer is a pinky nude gloss with heavier shimmer than Here To Stay. All three colors are definitely perfect shades for summer. I must say, however, I do have mixed feelings about this product.
Pros: I will first give credit where its due in saying that the colors are quite pretty [I’m especially loving the fuchsia one, its pigmented and beautiful]. They are easy to glide on and do feature flat sponge-tip applicator. The packaging is cuteish, something kinda handy to just throw in your bag and go. The product also says it lasts up to 6 hours. I’m not sure how accurate that is, but it does have some staying power [not sure if that is due to the stickyness of the product or the quality]
[1st- Fuchsia Fever, 2nd- Here To Stay, and 3rd- Endless Summer
Cons: These glosses, though they glide on well, are somewhat sticky [I wouldn’t advise puckering up with these, most men don’t like sticky]. I would recommend adding a thin layer chapstick or petroleum jelly to your lips before applying to cut down on the sticky effect.
Overall rating: 3 out of 5 [its worth a try…]
Anyway thanks for stopping by. If you’ve tried these products yourself, please let me know in the comments how you feel about them, and how you’d rate them. Hope you guys have a great day.
