For those of you who aren’t too familiar with me yet, or haven’t read my About Me section, I am Jamaican, not just by descent but by being raised there as well [bawn an’ rear fa mi yaad people dem]. So, with that in mind, I am also one of the proud Jamaicans celebrating Jamaica50 on August 6 with all my fellowmen [2012 is the 50th year since Jamaica gained its independence]. Emancipation Day for our country was August 1 as well, so as you can tell, we are having quite a big week here :). In honor of my amazing country, I decided to do a ‘nail tribute’, so to speak, featuring the colors of my flag, as well as the flag itself.
