So for the first time since I started this blog, I actually went to Walgreens for a specific product. Yes guys, I was on a mission! LOL! My mom informed me that Rimmel products were going to be Buy One, Get One 50% off, and I knew immediately what I had to get. I have tried a few different brands of lipstick, but my ultimate favorite lipstick ever is Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Lipstick, in the shade ‘Iced Coffee’ [#700]. It is the perfect nude shade for my skin tone, and has a moisturizing feel [also a plus]. Because I love this lipstick so much, I have been simultaneously using two tubes at once, one in my bathroom at home when I’m initially getting ready, and the other in my purse, for touch ups throughout the day, and they are both almost done. So I needed to get another one.

While at the Rimmel section picking up my fav, I saw a few other shades that caught my eye. I decided to try one out because of how rich the color looked in the tube. Its called ‘Violet Pop’ [#520], and its such a vibrant pink-purple with a very slight frost [which I usually don’t like, but this one is an exception]. If any of you are like me and like statement lips, this one is for you! It was around $ 6.99 as the original price, and then 50% of the 2nd one, so a pretty good deal for some great lipsticks.

I also scanned through the  nail polishes [yes, again :)] and found two really pretty pinks by Sin Colors. One is a creamy pink, very girly and perfect for a slightly brighter french manicure called ‘Pink Forever’ [#313], and the other is a pink glitter polish called ‘Pinky Glitter’ [#830]. I thought these two would be perfect for a classic mani, with ‘Pink Forever’ being the main color on most of the nails, and ‘Pinky Glitter’  being the accent color on the ring finger. I will post pics as soon as I try it out. They were $ 1.99 each.
