Hi lovelies!

I’m back again with some recent buys from Walgreens. I only bought four items so this is gonna be extra short. While looking for a hair product for my mom in the pharmacy this Friday, I realized it had been quite some time since I’ve picked up any beauty products, so I decided to have a quick look at the Wet n Wild section [browsing on a budget I like to call it :)].

I came upon two nail polishes and two lipsticks I wanted to try out, and with no item over $3, I figured ‘hey, how could it hurt?’. Let’s start with the lipsticks. One is a Mega Shield Lip Color SPF 15 in ‘Salsa Lessons’ [#369S], a beautiful pinky-red color, very moisturizing, perfect for a pop of color in everyday wear. The other one is a Mega Last Lip Color in ‘Purty Persimmon’ [#970]; a bright orange lipstick; a bold statement for women of color, pretty and rich [I recommend pairing it with a skin tone lip liner though to help make a natural transition to such an amazing color]. The Mega Shield was $ 2.99 and the Mega Last was $ 1.99. Awesome quality for the price!

Secondly, on to the nail polishes. You all already know how I feel about this line of polishes so I won’t go too much into detail. Simply put….they’re great! Really good quality for the price; rich, vibrant colors; go on smoothly and have staying power; and the brush….oh this awesome brush!! It cuts polishing time down, because of its size and build and also makes your polish job look so much more professional. The two colors I got were ‘Club Havana’ [#211B] and ‘Through the Grapevine’ [#208B]. I immediately did my nails in the ‘Club Havana’. The coral color just spoke to me, its gorgeous. I cannot wait to try out the other one as well. Its a purple shade I don’t see too often in nail polish, so I’m curious to know how it will look. Stay tuned for pics when I do!! [BTW both polishes were $ 1.99 each]
