Hey everyone!

So while scrolling through my Instagram a few weeks ago, I noticed that Shea Moisture was having a BOGO (buy one, get one free) sale as CVS. This brand can get a little expensive.  (though it’s really good, especially for those with naturally curly or coily hair). I’m used to the best sale being buy one get one half off, so I was quite determined to participate in this sale, even though I wasn’t in the country at the time. 

I was hoping that it was something I could have taken advantage of online, but when that didn’t work, I had to resort to other measures: I enlisted the assistance of my aunt,who is a teacher in Miami, and asked her to swing by the nearest one to her on the way home from school. Shea Moisture is a brand that carries quite a few different product lines, each of which seemingly tailored for a different hair type or issue. They carry very ‘natural’ products, with amazing oils, and no sulphates, parabens, gluten, artifical color, etc. 

I already knew from prior experience that I’m allergic to one of their lines  (the original moisture retention line) because I’m very sensitive to Argan Oil. But I have had great results from the products I had tried so far of their Curl and Shine line, and was interested in trying other things from that line, as well as dabbling in a few of the newer lines.

When my aunt went to her local branch, they didn’t have all of the items I was looking for. After phoning all other branches in close proximity to no avail, I settled on getting 4 items from the Curl and Shine line. I ended up getting:
– Curl and Shine Shampoo (originally  $10.99)
– Curl Enhancing Smoothie (originally  $12.99)
– Curl and Shine Conditioner (originally  $10.99)
– Curl and Style Milk (originally  $10.99)
