Product Review: Wet n Wild Desert Festival Eyeshadow Palette

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is on an eye shadow palette my mommy got for me a couple months ago, but I just opened last night. It’s a palette from from Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection. It’s called Desert Festival (A029) and it features 5 eyeshaows, 4 of them forming a square, and 1 in the center.

I found the palette to be the perfect size, convenient for doing looks on the go, and it does contain enough of a variety to compete a full eye look with just this one palette. The colors seem very pigmented as well. My only qualm with this palette is there is one shadow  (the dusty red shade) that seems a bit chalky. It doesn’t seem like something that should be a huge issue, especially once you use a good primer, but I do think it’s something to take note of  (especially for women of color as it would show up more on us).

This palette is definitely reminiscent of its name, the colors really speak to a desert theme. I checked online and it’s currently on sale at Walgreens for  $4.59, and they are also having a buy one, get one half off sale on this and items like these, so now would be the time to stock up if you’re interested.
