Nails of the week: Neon+Navy

Hey everyone!

Today’s manicure is a neon and navy duo. I picked it simply because the colors were on my dresser when I was ready to do my nails. Simple as that. Wish I had some more ingenious reason as to why I chose these colors. But, oh well.

The neon, I will say though, is a true neon. What I mean is, you don’t need a white base with this polish. Two coats of this is completely opaque. I found it at a beauty corner store for around $5. They had other more pastel colors, but this one caught my eye.  I’ve been on the hunt for a ‘true neon’ for a while, and I am quite pleased to have found one. This neon polish is from a brand called ‘RK’ by Kiss HD in the color ‘Lime Mojito’. The one negative I have to say about this polish, though, is the fact that it does get thick fairly quickly. I’ve used about three or four times, and I may have to use a thinner in it soon, so it doesn’t get goopy.

The navy polish is from LA Colors Colorlast, one of the favorite lines of polish. This stuff certainly knows how to stick on to a nail! Great formula too, but definitely a two coater. It’s called ‘Galaxy’. This find was $1.97 at Walmart.

Hope you all enjoyed!

Have you tried either of these polishes? If so, what are your thoughts? Any other polish brand with true neons that I should try out? I love a bright nail!! Please leave me a comment and let me know, I love hearing from you all.  Thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. Don’t forget to follow ILuvBeautie both here and on Facebook for upcoming posts and exciting giveaways. Until next time, have an amazing day! 🙂
