Nails of the Week: : Two-Hr Lunch’ by Orly

Hey everyone!

Today’s manicure happened in the shade that it did, because I was looking for something to remind me of my mom, since I miss her. Thankfully I’m going to get to see her next week (yay me!!). My mom is a lady of very subtle sophistication, especially when it comes to her nails. Because of this fact, I decided to go with a soft salmon pink.

I will say that the color is beautiful. It even dries quickly and applies smoothly. However, it only lasted me one day before it looked horrendous! I wasn’t doing any heavy work. I didn’t even have my hands in water a lot. I was so disappointed, especially given the normal price for a polish like Orly. I don’t know… maybe my fingers just don’t like expensive nail polish, but whenever I use Orly, China Glaze or Essie, my manicure just breaks up and runs away. The most I’ve ever gotten out of one of them was two days (I’ll stick to LA Colors and Wet n Wild, thank you very much!)

To achieve this manicure, the following other products were also used:

– Pro FX Complete 3 Base Coat, Strengthener and Top Coat

– HK Girl Fast Dry Top Coat by Glisten and Glow

Hope you all enjoyed!

Have you all ever tried Orly? What are your thoughts? Any better luck than I’ve had? I’d love to know what you think. Please leave me a comment. As always, thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. Don’t forget to follow ILuvBeautie both here and on Facebook for upcoming posts and exciting giveaways.  Until next time, have an amazing day! 🙂
