Overall view: Saw these shoes ‘On Sale’ while browsing in Target [was excited about the sale til I realized it was only $1 off the original price…some sale there Target!! hmph!]. Love the whole look of the covered heel. It gave a slightly feminine feel to this roughish style. As you can see from the pictures, there isn’t much stitching detail on the shoe. There is only stitching  to hold the straps in place and for attaching the zipper. The rest of the shoe has almost a laser cut finish to it, no edgestitching or anything like that for a polished feel [which I actually like to be honest, its different :)]. The cushioned insole as well as the soft straps make this shoe quite comfortable.

I have quite a difficult time finding comfortable shoes due to the fact that my feet are quite large and they are also quite flat, so the comfort is definitely welcomed [even tho, to be honest, it isn’t as comfy as it was when I first tried it on, it can still be worn for the day without badly aching feet. I did experience some difficulty with one of the zippers being really stiff. It was hard to zip up when it was off my foot and wouldn’t zip up at all when it was on my foot. I bought it anyway and worked a little magic on it [cue picturing me with a bottle of WD40 spraying the heck outta that zipper, fumes flying in my face  and the headache and frustration following. Oh yes I did! I was not giving up these shoes lol!]. After a little patience and some elbow grease, I got it to work.

I quite like this shoe, even given the difficulties it gave me, it was worth it for the price and quality. Hope this helps 🙂
